Position Overview

We are looking for a Mid to Senior Python Developer to join our growing remote team. You will design and develop backend applications, optimize system performance, and ensure code quality across projects. This role suits someone who thrives in fast-paced, delivery-driven environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend systems using Python and Django
• Design, build, and optimize RESTful APIs
• Implement integrations with internal and external systems
• Ensure application reliability, scalability, and performance
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers when needed
• Collaborate closely with frontend developers, QA engineers, and product managers
• Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3+ years of professional experience in Python backend development
• Strong experience with Django (FastAPI experience is a plus)
• Proficient in relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ORM tools
• Solid understanding of REST architecture and API security
• Familiar with version control (Git) and CI/CD workflows
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is an advantage
• Strong analytical and debugging skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
