Job Description
- The Safety Officer III is responsible for overseeing and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards on a job site or within an organization.
- This role involves managing safety programs, conducting inspections, providing training, and advising on safety-related concerns. As a senior safety officer, the Safety Officer III is expected to have advanced knowledge of safety protocols, lead initiatives, and act as the primary liaison between the company and regulatory authorities.
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
- Certifications: Certified Safety Officer (SO III) as per government regulations (e.g., DOLE).
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in occupational safety and health
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of safety regulations, risk management, and emergency response protocols.
