Sales Engineer (Heavy Equipment)

Location: Intramuros, Manila

Work Set Up: Full time, Dayshift

Salary: ₱30,000


Job Summary:

This role begins as a 1-year fixed-term contract, giving the candidate an opportunity to showcase skills and deliver results. Renewal or conversion to regular employment will depend on performance, including achievement of sales targets and effective client engagement.

The Sales Engineer will provide technical expertise in heavy equipment, generate new business, support clients, and deliver technical solutions aligned with customer needs. This role requires the ability to present, demonstrate, and explain technical products, prepare proposals, and collaborate with engineering teams to deliver value-driven solutions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities within assigned markets and territories
  • Present and demonstrate technical products and solutions to clients, highlighting business value and ROI
  • Prepare and deliver technical proposals, quotations, and product specifications tailored to customer requirements
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure solutions align with client needs
  • Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and contribute to sales strategies
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular visits, follow-ups, and after-sales support
  • Provide technical training and product knowledge sessions for clients as needed
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to overall business growth


Other Requirements / Expectations

  • Willingness to undergo product and technical training to enhance sales effectiveness
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings, prospecting, and relationship building
  • Ability to actively generate leads, sell heavy equipment, and provide engineering services
  • Strong focus on building and maintaining client relationships to achieve sales targets
  • Driving skills (automatic and manual vehicles)


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field) or equivalent technical background
  • 2–3 years of experience in sales or technical selling, preferably in heavy equipment
  • Strong aptitude in technical selling
  • Ability to explain engineering principles and technical concepts in simple terms
  • Proficiency in preparing proposals, sales reports, and market analysis
  • Knowledge of heavy equipment products and engineering services
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Team collaboration and adaptability
  • Positive, proactive, and result-oriented
