Description

Work with Make-to-Stock (MTS) and Make-to-Order (MTO) scenarios to improve production processes.
Set up and maintain SAP Production Planning (PP) data, including materials, production schedules, and resources (work centers).
Analyze and solve issues in forecasting, demand planning, and production scheduling.
Understand key planning parameters such as safety stock, minimum/maximum inventory levels, and reorder points.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with SAP’s Manufacturing Execution System (MES), including IDOC errors.
Manage the Kanban process for production flow.
Integrate PP and MM (Material Management) modules for goods movement, stock updates, and production orders.
Assist with data migration and work with LSMW for large data loads.
Lead project activities like cut-over (transition) and post-launch support.
Guide a small team (3 to 5 consultants) and help with project-related tasks.
Prepare Functional Design Documents and review the design to make sure it fits business needs.
Create and test production processes, ensure a smooth go-live, and provide ongoing support post-launch.
Communicate clearly, explaining technical details in a simple way to both technical and business teams.
Support cross-functional project teams and ensure all team members are on track.
Create training materials and assist business users during the integration testing phase.
Provide end-to-end support for business users, helping them with incident resolutions and service requests.
Familiarity with S/4HANA, variant configuration, engineering change management, and SAP QM (quality management) is a plus.
Experience using Solution Manager, ARIS, MS Visio, or Application Life Cycle Management will be beneficial.

Requirements

6 to 9 years of hands-on experience with SAP Production Planning (PP) in designing, configuring, and implementing solutions.
Ability to lead and manage a small team of consultants.
Strong understanding of project life cycles and deliverables.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to handle complex problems and explain them clearly in business terms.
