About the Job:

We're searching for a talented Software Engineer Senior Stream Lead to join our client's team and contribute to the development of their diverse solutions, spanning cloud, hybrid, and on-premise environments. In this role, you will provide strategic technical leadership and direction for a high-impact stream within the software engineering organization. You will lead a team of software engineers and collaborate closely with architects, consultants, and stakeholders to drive the development of Web software solutions that meet business objectives and customer needs. This position also requires strong collaboration with the corresponding backend SAP Software Engineers and Leads.

• Is a creative problem-solver who can analytically and systematically work through and resolve issues.
• A proactive communicator, where part of the key tasks is to liaise with the Architect Team to fix an issue or to move forward with a requirement.
• Can work autonomously and achieve their targets with little to no direct supervision, and must be responsible and accountable.
• Can create test data for the purpose of unit testing your development changes.
• Is a team player whose role is to assist the Support and Consulting Team as a point of escalation to meet internal service level agreements (SLAs).
• Can participate in design activities for future web development projects
• Understand enterprise standards like SSO, OAuth, and Message Queueing

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 12 years of Web Development experience in client-side technologies.
• Solid React.js experience.
• Experience leading team/s.
• Excellent knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts - MVC and inheritance in particular.
• Excellent knowledge of JavaScript and at least one or two JS Frameworks like ReactJS or Angular.
• Excellent knowledge of TypeScript.
• Excellent knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 , AJAX and JSON.
• Understanding of Hana Cloud Platform, AWS, or a Multi-Tenant Cloud-based Product.
• Possesses excellent interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills.
• Can start immediately if possible.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of HR systems (HCM and/or SuccessFactors) is a big plus.
• Knowledge of SAP UI5 or openUI5 or at least of all components is a great advantage.
• Understanding of OData Protocol.
• Knowledge of deployment procedure of an application and its configuration on AWS.
• Basic knowledge of JAVA and how to debug JAVA code.
• With knowledge of Bitbucket or any Git-based code hosting and collaboration tool.
