Main Responsibilities

* Build and audit smart contracts (initially leveraging your DeFi expertise while providing support to transition to Move development), covering the following areas:

• Borrowing and Lending: Collateral logic, interest rate models, liquidation mechanisms, and risk frameworks
• Liquid Staking (LST): Staking processes, reward distribution, token minting/burning, and redemption logic
• Treasuries: Yield aggregation, automatic rebalancing, and fee structures

* Utilize your DeFi knowledge to optimize capital efficiency, security, and user experience across products

* Collaborate with the team to integrate the Sui ecosystem (such as oracles, staking service providers, external protocols, etc.)

* Identify and mitigate DeFi-specific risks (such as oracle manipulation, liquidity fragmentation, and incentive misalignment)

Qualifications and Skills

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science/Engineering, or equivalent experience

* Over 3 years of hands-on experience with decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols (in areas such as lending, staking, yield vaults, or automated market makers) — this is a high priority for us

* Proficient in smart contract languages: Solidity (preferred) or Rust (a plus); experience with Move is desirable but not required

* Deep understanding of DeFi fundamentals: collateral mechanisms, interest rate models, liquidity pools, token economics, and risk management

* Familiar with smart contract security best practices (such as reentrancy attack prevention, access control, gas/execution optimization, etc.)

* Experience with DeFi development tools (such as Hardhat, Foundry, or similar tools) and testing frameworks

* Eager to learn Move (we will provide resources and guidance) and able to adapt DeFi patterns to the Sui ecosystem
