As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of service, product management, store operations, and customer satisfaction. This role is also accountable for maintaining high standards while ensuring the store’s performance is both profitable and cost-effective.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily operations of the Gelato Store, including scheduling, inventory management, administrative tasks, liaising with the leasing office, and overseeing store activities.
  • Supervise the entire customer experience, ensuring customer satisfaction and that all team members adhere to company policies, values, and procedures.
  • Become the product expert for the store, with in-depth knowledge of gelato production, flavor profiles, and artisanal techniques. Maintain professionalism and establish rapport with customers.
  • Train, supervise, and motivate staff to ensure that all team members meet the company’s standards.
  • Perform regular quality control checks and maintain accurate records of these measures.
  • Collaborate with team members and management to implement and improve operational practices.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, store operations policies, and industry standards.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate necessary maintenance and repairs.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, innovations, and best practices in gelato, desserts, and the Food & Beverage sector.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork, communication, and professional growth among staff.
  • Serve as a brand ambassador, embodying the company’s values and commitment to excellence.
  • Ensure the store remains profitable while minimizing expenses.

Requirements

  • More than 3 years of experience in store management, preferably within the food service, retail, or hospitality industry.
  • Knowledge of food safety and quality standards is required.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and mentor staff.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
