Job Description

Description

  1. Manage and oversee the work of their team members including, if applicable, their assistant team leaders and subject matter experts and ensure tasks are being done effectively and efficiently
  2. Set goals and objectives for their team members that are aligned with the client's and SMA’s goals.
  3. Schedule an individual weekly meeting with their team members to discuss goals, address performance issues, and important client updates among others. Come up with specific action plans geared towards ensuring performance improvement.
  4. Ensure that their team members comply with company policies and procedures, as well as any applicable laws and regulations.
  5. Effectively resolve conflicts and manage any interpersonal issues that arise among their team members. If necessary, involve the Operations/Junior Operations Manager when dealing with these issues.
  6. Together with operations managers, assistant team leader, and subject matter experts,  plan and organize work schedules, allocate resources, and prioritize tasks to ensure that their team is meeting its goals.
  7. Monitor the performance of their team members and assistant team leader and subject matter experts and take corrective action as necessary.
  8. Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure that their team's work is aligned with the organization's overall objectives.
  9. Effectively connect, communicate, and maintain a positive, collaborative, and consultative partnership with clients. 
  10. Collaborate with the Human Resources, Quality, and/or Training Department and determine how they can assist in performance improvement of their team members.
  11. Attend client meetings when required
  12. Phone time and assisting or doing other tasks as needed
  13. Performs other tasks as may be assigned by Management.


Requirements

  • At least 5 years in the BPO industry
  • 3 years or more Team Lead experience
  • Excellent English communication and multitasking skills
  • Preferably with a background in Customer Service
  • Appointment setting experience is a plus
  • Willing to work graveyard and can start training immediately
  • Has an existing home office setup with a conducive

Computer or laptop with specs of at least core i5 or

higher/6th gen or newer, or its AMD equivalent, 12GB RAM

ram, functional camera, noise-canceling headset, and dual monitor

Stable internet connection of at least 25 Mbps

upload and download. Back-up power/internet is a plus
