Description

The Technical Support Staff is responsible for assisting with the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and coordination of technical systems like CCTV, PABX, and other related equipment. The role ensures the proper functioning of systems, provides client support, and maintains compliance with safety standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Install and configure Analog/IP CCTV and other auxiliary systems such as PABX, paging systems, access points, biometrics, access control, structured cabling, and other related systems according to client specifications and requirements.
  • Test, terminate, label, and document horizontal backbone and other cables.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance of systems to ensure continuous and reliable operation.
  • Perform site surveys/ocular inspections and provide technical recommendations for the preparation of quotations.
  • Provide training to clients on system usage and offer ongoing technical support for any inquiries or issues.
  • Attend trainings, seminars, and product demonstrations from suppliers.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including installation, maintenance, repair reports, and maintenance checklists. Prepare reports for both clients and internal teams.
  • Coordinate with the technical team, purchasing, and HR for tools and equipment, scheduling, and project-related coordination.
  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with company safety standards and industry regulations to maintain a safe work environment.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other related fields.

Certifications:

  • Relevant certifications in CCTV, PABX, or related technical fields are an advantage.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of CCTV systems, network configurations, and IP-based technologies.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and find practical solutions quickly.
  • Effective communication skills with clients and team members, both verbal and written.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure system functionality and safety compliance.
  • Ability to manage time efficiently and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Comfortable working at heights as required for CCTV installation and maintenance.
