Job Title: Terminal Operations Lead (1)

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented Terminal Operations Lead to oversee and manage the efficient and safe operation of our bus terminals. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading terminal staff, developing and implementing standard operating procedures, coordinating multiple operations within a space-constrained environment, and managing retail and lease agreements with local vendors. Experience in the Philippines and similar Southeast Asian markets is a significant plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage operations at the terminals, including inspections, communications, scheduling, irregular operations (assuming LGU will oversee this task)
  • Develop Standard Operating Procedures, including risk-based decision- making processes to optimize operations and expenses including resiliency and sustainability of facilities
  • Propose innovative methods to improve operations
  • Ensure operators efficiently use and manage space
  • Review and/or formulate maintenance contracts for the terminals (if not undertaken by LGU or Operators directly)
  • Develop lease agreements for retail establishments within the terminal (if not undertaken directly by Operators)

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in terminal operations, with at least 3 years of experience leading/managing operations for multiple bus terminals.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for terminal operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple operating units efficiently within a space-constrained environment.
  • Experience in formulating and managing retail and lease agreements with local vendors.
  • Strong leadership, management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and security protocols.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the Philippines and similar Southeast Asian markets.
