Role Description

This is a full time role for a SAP FICO and SAP BASIS Consultant. The consultant will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to SAP FICO and SAP BASIS implementations, configurations, enhancements, and support to ensure smooth operations and optimal performance of enterprise systems.


SAP FICO:

Qualifications

1) At least 5 years Experience in SAP FICO With good communication

2) Business Process Understanding

i) Analyze and understand client business processes in Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO).

ii) Identify gaps between standard SAP functionality and business needs.

iii) Configuration of SAP FICO Modules

3) Perform configuration and customization of SAP FICO sub-modules:

i) FI (Financial Accounting)

ii) General Ledger (GL)

iii) Accounts Payable (AP)

iv) Accounts Receivable (AR)

v) Asset Accounting (AA)

vi) Bank Accounting (BA)

vii) Special Purpose Ledger

viii) CO (Controlling)

ix) Cost Element Accounting

x) Cost Center Accounting

xi) Internal Orders

xii) Profit Center Accounting

xiii) Profitability Analysis (CO-PA)

xiv) Product Costing

4) Integration

i) Ensure smooth integration with other SAP modules like MM (Materials Management), SD (Sales and Distribution), PP (Production Planning), and EWM.

5) Collaborate with other module consultants for cross-functional setups and testing.

6) Support and Maintenance

Provide ongoing support for live systems:

i) Issue analysis and troubleshooting

ii) Bug fixing and minor enhancements

iii) Handle month-end and year-end closing activities.

7) Preparation of Documentations.


SAP BASIS:

Qualifications

1. SAP BASIS Expertise: Comprehensive understanding and hands-on experience in SAP BASIS administration tasks such as system monitoring, performance tuning, transport management, user administration, and system troubleshooting.


2. Cloud Infrastructure Knowledge: Proficiency in cloud infrastructure concepts and experience with Azure. Understanding of provisioning, networking, security, scalability, and cost management in a cloud environment.


3. SAP S/4HANA Cloud Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Cloud architecture and understanding of cloud-specific features, deployment options, and best practices for configuration and maintenance.


4. Lifecycle Management: Experience with SAP S/4HANA Cloud lifecycle management activities such as system updates, upgrades, and quarterly releases. Knowledge of SAP's cloud release strategy and the impact on EWM functionality.


5. Security and Compliance: Understanding of cloud security principles and best practices, including data encryption, identity and access management (IAM), compliance requirements, and security controls specific to the cloud provider.


6. Monitoring and Performance Optimization: Ability to monitor SAP S/4HANA performance in a cloud environment, identify bottlenecks, and optimize system performance using cloud-native monitoring and optimization tools.

7. Backup and Disaster Recovery: Experience in designing and implementing backup and disaster recovery strategies for SAP in the cloud, including data backups, system snapshots, and failover configurations.


8. Integration and Interfaces: Knowledge of interfacing technologies and experience integrating SAP S/4HANA with other SAP and non-SAP systems using middleware tools and APIs.


9. Documentation and Collaboration: Strong documentation skills to maintain system configuration documents, technical procedures, and operational manuals specific to the cloud environment. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external cloud providers.

10. Problem-solving and Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex technical issues, troubleshoot problems, and provide effective solutions in a timely manner.


11. Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to interact with stakeholders, end-users, and other technical teams effectively. Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders clearly.
