The Warehouse Staff is responsible for handling the daily operations of receiving, organizing, issuing, and monitoring inventory of raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished goods. This role ensures accurate stock movement and supports the overall efficiency of kitchen, production, and service operations in the bakery and restaurant.

RESPONSIBILITIES

RECEIVING

  1. Receives incoming deliveries of raw materials, ingredients, packaging, and other supplies.
  2. Checks and verifies delivery documents such as purchase orders and delivery receipts for accuracy and completeness.
  3. Inspects items for quality, quantity, and possible damage
  4. Reports discrepancies immediately.

 

ORGANIZING AND STORAGE

  1. Properly labels and stores goods according to type, temperature requirements (dry, chilled, frozen), and FIFO principles.
  2. Maintains cleanliness and orderliness in the warehouse and storage areas at all times.
  3. Arrange stocks systematically to ensure easy access and minimize spoilage or waste.

 

ISSUANCE OF STOCKS

  1. Accurately issues materials and ingredients based on approved requisitions from production, kitchen, or service departments.
  2. Logs all outgoing stocks and ensures proper documentation is completed for tracking purposes.

 

INVENTORY MANAGEMENT

  1. Conducts regular inventory counts (daily, weekly, monthly) and update stock records accordingly.
  2. Monitors stock levels to ensure timely reordering and avoid shortages or overstocking.
  3. Assists in preparing inventory reports and help reconcile physical counts with system records.

 

OTHER DUTIES:

  1. Observes proper safety and food handling procedures at all times.
  2. Assists in loading and unloading of goods as needed.
  3. Performs other related tasks that the supervisor may assign to support overall warehouse efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. At least high school graduate; vocational training or TESDA certification in warehousing or inventory is a plus.
  2. Preferably with 1–2 years of experience in warehouse or stockroom operations, especially in the food service or manufacturing industry.
  3. Familiar with inventory systems, basic documentation, and the First-In, First-Out (FIFO) method.
  4. Physically fit and able to lift, carry, and move heavy items safely.
  5. Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work under minimal supervision.
  6. Willing to work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays if needed
