We're looking for a versatile accountant to join our remote team. This role goes beyond standard bookkeeping. You’ll work closely with the founder and operations team, helping shape the financial health of the company through real-time insights and reporting. You'll handle invoicing, expenses, and profit analysis and stay on top of Canadian grants and funding opportunities.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Creating and sending client invoices, tracking payments, and following up on overdue accounts
• Managing vendor and contractor payments
• Preparing accurate monthly profit & loss reports
• Running monthly client profitability breakdowns
• Monitoring cash flow and maintaining real-time dashboards

• Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• Experience Level: 1-3 years of relevant accounting experience preferred.
• Skills and Competencies: Strong analytical skills, proficiency in accounting software, and excellent attention to detail.
