Job Description

MOVE Your Business is proud to represent our client, a licensed engineering firm specializing in factory automation, process control systems, and variable speed drive solutions. With decades of experience, they design, engineer, and support fully integrated automation and control systems. Their expertise helps industrial facilities reduce downtime, optimize efficiency, and improve safety across sectors such as manufacturing, food and beverage, water/wastewater, and energy. They are known for delivering reliable, end-to-end solutions and responsive technical support that keep mission-critical operations running smoothly.


On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Marketing Manager who will establish and manage a consistent, professional marketing program for the company. The individual will serve as a one-person marketing department, responsible for executing the client’s marketing initiatives, managing campaigns in collaboration with Scott’s X100 Program, and developing content that clearly communicates the client’s engineering expertise to clients and partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Marketing Strategy & Campaign Execution 
  • Develop and manage a structured marketing plan aligned with company goals and the X100 framework.
  • Execute digital campaigns, email outreach, and brand awareness initiatives to support lead generation.
  • Coordinate with external consultants and vendors to manage marketing deliverables.
  • Maintain campaign calendars, track KPIs, and optimize based on performance analytics. 
  • Content Development & Brand Presence 
  • Create high-quality marketing materials, including website content, case studies, brochures, and LinkedIn posts. 
  • Translate complex engineering solutions into clear, engaging messaging tailored to industrial audiences. 
  • Maintain brand consistency across all communication channels. 
  • Develop project highlights, client success stories, and visual assets to showcase the client’s capabilities. 
  •  Digital Marketing & Analytics 
  • Manage the client’s website and ensure content is current, professional, and optimized for SEO. 
  • Track marketing analytics (web traffic, engagement, and conversion rates) to measure ROI. 
  • Identify opportunities to improve visibility, lead generation, and brand reach. 
  • Collaboration & Reporting 
  • Serve as the point of contact between the client’s leadership and external marketing consultants. 
  • Coordinate communications, campaign follow-through, and updates to marketing materials. 
  • Provide monthly performance summaries and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Ad Hoc Support
  • Provide flexible support on special projects and other assignments as directed by the client.


Requirements & Qualifications:

  • 2–4 years of experience in B2B marketing, preferably within industrial, engineering, or manufacturing sectors. 
  • Strong written and visual communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly. 
  • Proficiency with tools such as LinkedIn, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, WordPress, Google Analytics, and CRM/email marketing software. 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently and meet deadlines. 
  • Highly organized, dependable, and proactive.
  • Two professional references and a valid criminal background check issued within the last 60 days are required for all successful applicants.
  • Completion of intake paperwork, including submission of a valid tax identification number (e.g., Social Security Number, Social Insurance Number, or the country’s equivalent), is required before onboarding.


Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience or basic knowledge of AI tools for marketing, automation, or content creation (e.g., ChatGPT, Jasper, or similar). 
  • Familiarity with SEO, paid advertising, or data-driven marketing. 
  • Experience working with external marketing programs or agencies (e.g., X100).
  • Background in technical or industrial marketing environments.


Working Hours:

Full-Time (40 hours per week)

Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Central Time
