Artillery Philippines is a fast-growing online art brand, and we’re looking for a Chat Sales Lead to build and lead our chat sales team.

Mission:

We are seeking an experienced Chat Sales Lead to build, lead, and scale our chat sales function. This leader will be responsible for developing a high-performing team that drives customer conversions, maximizes upsell opportunities, and delivers measurable business growth through chat-based sales channels. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in managing chat sales operations, deep knowledge of digital sales metrics, and the ability to generate insights that improve both customer experience and revenue outcomes.

Work Hours:

  • Flex schedule (You can choose any time between 8am - 9pm PHT but you have to indicate the times. Just make sure you can be present for meetings)

Tasks and Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Development

  • Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing chat sales team focused on course enrollments
  • Establish clear KPIs (conversion, upsell, drop-off, response time) and implement regular coaching for performance improvement.

Sales Funnel Management

  • Monitor chat flow performance to identify and reduce drop-off rates at each stage.
  • Optimize chat scripts, playbooks, and engagement strategies to increase closing and upsell rates.
  • Ensure smooth hand-offs between chat, marketing, and operations teams.

Data Driven Optimization

  • Build dashboards and reporting systems to track conversion metrics, upsell effectiveness, and agent performance.
  • Analyze sales and customer behavior data to generate insights for continuous improvement.
  • Lead A/B tests and experiments to refine scripts, offers, and engagement flows.

Scaling & Insights

  • Develop strategies to hit and exceed enrollment and upsell targets.
  • Implement scalable processes to handle higher chat volumes while maintaining quality.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align campaigns with sales performance goals.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in sales management with at least 2+ years specifically leading chat or digital sales teams.
  • Demonstrated success in scaling a chat sales operation and meeting/exceeding revenue targets.
  • Strong understanding of chat funnel metrics (drop-off rates, conversion rates, upsell/cross-sell rates, etc.).
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into operational improvements.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and coaching skills.
  • Experience with CRM, chat platforms, and sales enablement tools.
