説明

The Senior Research and Development (R&D) Supervisor is responsible for leading and overseeing product development initiatives, formulation improvements, and process innovations in a food manufacturing environment. This role involves supervising R&D teams, collaborating with cross-functional departments, and ensuring that new and existing products meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards. The Senior R&D Supervisor plays a crucial role in driving innovation, enhancing product efficiency, and supporting the company’s strategic goals in food product development.


Product Development & Innovation:

  • Lead the development of new food products from ideation to commercialization.
  • Improve existing formulations and processes to enhance quality, shelf life, and cost efficiency.
  • Conduct research on new ingredients, technologies, and trends in food manufacturing.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to align product development with market demands.


Process Improvement & Quality Assurance:

  • Work with the production team to optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency and scalability.
  • Ensure that all products meet safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support the implementation of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP).


Supervision & Team Management:

  • Supervise, mentor, and provide technical guidance to the R&D team.
  • Plan and oversee laboratory and pilot-scale trials to test new formulations and processing methods.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and external partners for raw material sourcing and trials.


Regulatory Compliance & Documentation:

  • Ensure adherence to food safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of research findings, test results, and product specifications.
  • Assist in regulatory submissions and certifications for new products.


Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with procurement, quality assurance, and production teams to facilitate smooth product launches.
  • Provide technical support for customer inquiries and complaints related to product development.
  • Present research findings and project updates to management.

芁件

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, or a related field.
  • At least 5-7 years of experience in research and development within the food manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of food processing, ingredient functionality, and sensory evaluation.
  • Experience in leading and managing R&D teams.
  • Familiarity with food safety standards such as HACCP, GMP, and ISO certifications.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
