Join a dynamic property management company that values efficiency, precision, and innovation. We are seeking a dedicated Remote Accounts Payable Manager to oversee and optimize our accounts payable operations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Payable Management: Oversee end-to-end accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices and expenses.
  • Vendor Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, addressing inquiries and resolving disputes promptly.
  • Invoice Processing: Review, verify, and process invoices, ensuring proper approvals and adherence to company policies.
  • Reconciliation: Manage monthly reconciliations of accounts payable balances and vendor statements.
  • Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with financial regulations, internal policies, and audit requirements. Generate and present periodic reports on accounts payable metrics.
  • Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in the accounts payable process and implement improvements to enhance workflow and accuracy.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise accounts payable staff (if applicable), providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.


Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA designation is a plus.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in accounts payable, preferably in a property management or real estate environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software and tools (e.g., QuickBooks, Yardi). Advanced Excel skills are required.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with vendors, team members, and stakeholders.
  • Time Management: Proven ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a remote work setting.
  • Leadership: Experience in managing and developing teams in a remote environment is a plus.
