Job Summary:
We are looking for a creative and strategic Social Media Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing our social media strategy, creating engaging content, and building a strong online presence. This role requires a deep understanding of social media platforms, audience engagement, and digital marketing trends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage our social media strategy to align with business goals.
- Identify target audiences and create content that resonates with them across various social media platforms.
- Set specific objectives and report on ROI, adjusting strategies based on data and performance metrics.
- Create, curate, and manage high-quality content (text, images, video) that drives engagement and supports brand objectives.
- Maintain a consistent brand voice and style across all social media platforms.
- Plan and execute a content calendar that includes regular posts, stories, and campaigns.
- Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and foster a positive community around the brand.
- Monitor online conversations and brand mentions and address any issues or opportunities that arise.
- Build relationships with influencers and brand advocates to expand reach and impact.
- Monitor, track, analyze, and report on social media performance using tools like
- Google Analytics, Hootsuite, or other analytics platforms.
- Use insights to optimize content and improve engagement rates, follower growth, and other key metrics.
- Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies.
- Develop and manage paid social media campaigns, including budgeting, targeting, and performance tracking.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media efforts with overall marketing campaigns and goals.
- Work closely with other departments, such as Content, PR, and Customer
- Service, to ensure cohesive messaging across all channels.
- Collaborate with graphic designers, photographers, and videographers to produce engaging content.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.) and their respective audiences.
- Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative thinking and the ability to generate original ideas.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to make informed decisions.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with SEO, web traffic metrics, and online marketing concepts.
- Experience with graphic design or video editing software is a plus.
