RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Providing Australian tax and accounting advice and solutions to a diverse portfolio of clients which includes family groups, trusts and partnerships, foreign subsidiaries, and mid-market companies
• Further developing your technical expertise working across services including Australian tax and accounting compliance anf business/tax advisory
• Playing a key role across the full scope of client engagements including regular client contact, presentations and meetings with senior leaders
• Developing your skills across a broad range of Australian tax issues or specializing in a chosen field
• Growing as a mentor and develop managerial skills, overseeing team members, encouraging their continued professional development

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Deep technical knowledge of and exposure to Australian taxation and accounting legislation and associate requirements
• Minimum 5 years experience working in a similar corporate environment
• CA or CA equivalent qualified
• Have a relevant tertiary or post-grad qualification
• Demonstrated ability to keep up to date and understand any changes to Australian taxation law and accounting standards
• Solid tax and accounting technical/systems capabilities
• A client centric approach and ability to understand your clients' business needs
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills will be key as the applicant develops relationships with key client stakeholders
• Display initiative and be excited to help create innovative solutions in a changing world of service delivery
• Possess a passion for ongoing learning
