Description

  • Process customer transactions efficiently and accurately.
  • Provide excellent customer service and assistance.
  • Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
  • Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions securely.
  • Balance cash register at the beginning and end of shifts.
  • Assist with inventory management and stocking when needed.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Transaction Management: Handling cash, credit, and debit card payments accurately and efficiently. 
  • POS System Operation: Utilizing point-of-sale systems to process sales, discounts, and returns. 
  • Cash Handling: Counting money, making change, and balancing the cash drawer at the beginning and end of shifts. 
  • Customer Service: Greet customers, answer questions, and resolve any issues or complaints with a positive attitude. 
  • Maintaining Cleanliness: Ensuring the checkout area is organized and tidy. 
  • Inventory Management: This may involve basic inventory tasks, such as checking stock levels. 
  • Communication: Effectively communicating with customers and other staff members.
