Description

Responsible for supporting financial reporting, analyzing financial data, reconciling accounts and ensuring the accuracy of accounting records. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to drive data-informed decision-making and uphold strong internal controls.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial schedules, account analysis, and reconciliation.
  • Perform month-end and year-end closing process, including preparation of general accounting journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • On time preparation of monthly P&L and balance sheet schedules and reconciliation of SL and GL, and eventually recommends/prepares the necessary adjustments
  • Provide detailed analysis to support business performance evaluations and maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the accounting system.
  • Prepare and reconcile intercompany transactions and balances.
  • Prepare the monthly bank reconciliation.
  • Assist in the conduct of external audit by preparing schedules, gathering documentation, and responding to auditor inquiries for an interim and annual audit of financial statements.
  • Assist with internal control evaluations and process documentation.
  • Facilitate physical count of inventories and fixed assets, including project sites.
  • Record and prepare a report on the acquisition of assets, depreciation, transfers, and disposal.
  • Follow up and record liquidation of CA and personal charges.
  • Conduct the filing of Accounting documents and transmit to document control.
  • Recommend process improvements and automation where applicable.
  • Prepare ad hoc management reports as needed.


About You:


  • Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy
  • At least three (3) years of experience in accounting, financial analysis, ora similar role
  • Strong understanding of Accounting principles and financial reporting standards
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (preferably SAP)
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Preferably, a Certified Public Accountant and accredited by the Board of Accountancy
  • Familiarity with financial controls and internal audit procedures
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
