Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative R&D Supervisor with expertise in Bakery and Food & Beverage to lead product development initiatives. The ideal candidate will be a Food Technology graduate with a strong background in research, formulation, and process improvement. The R&D Supervisor will be responsible for developing new products, improving existing formulations, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead research and development projects related to bakery and food & beverage products.
  • Develop new product formulations and improve existing recipes based on market trends and consumer preferences.
  • Conduct trials, testing, and sensory evaluations to ensure product quality and consistency.
  • Collaborate with production, quality assurance, and marketing teams to bring products from concept to commercialization.
  • Optimize product costs without compromising quality and taste.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
  • Stay updated with market trends, ingredient innovations, and new technologies in the food industry.
  • Troubleshoot formulation and processing challenges to improve product performance.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation, including formulation records, technical reports, and standard operating procedures.
  • Train and mentor R&D staff, ensuring best practices and efficient workflow in the department.

Requisito

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Technology or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in R&D, product development, or formulation in the bakery and food & beverage industry.
  • Strong understanding of food chemistry, ingredient functionality, and processing technologies.
  • Experience in handling new product development from ideation to commercialization.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations (e.g., FDA, HACCP, GMP).
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant R&D software.
