Job Summary: The HR Generalist will oversee the entire spectrum of Human Resources functions, from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations, performance management, and compliance. The role requires a deep understanding of Philippine labor laws and regulations to ensure the company's HR practices align with legal requirements and best practices. The HR Generalist will act as a key resource for employees and management, supporting the organization's HR initiatives and fostering a positive work environment.


  • Recruitment and Onboarding:
  1. Manage the full recruitment cycle, including posting job openings, screening resumes, interviewing candidates, and making job offers.
  2. Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company and that all necessary paperwork and training are completed.
  3. Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies to attract top talent.


  • Employee Relations:
  1. Foster a positive work environment by addressing employee concerns, managing conflict resolution, and providing support for any workplace issues.
  2. Serve as a point of contact for employees seeking guidance on HR-related matters, maintaining open lines of communication between staff and management.
  3. Promote employee engagement and retention through effective communication, recognition programs, and regular feedback channels.


  • Performance Management:
  1. Support the performance appraisal process, helping to set clear objectives, track performance, and provide feedback to employees.
  2. Collaborate with managers to address performance issues and implement performance improvement plans when necessary.
  3. Promote a culture of continuous improvement by ensuring employees receive appropriate guidance and development opportunities.


  • Training and Development:
  1. Identify training needs and coordinate professional development programs to enhance employee skills and capabilities.
  2. Organize internal and external training sessions, workshops, and seminars, ensuring employees have access to continuous learning opportunities.
  3. Monitor the effectiveness of training programs and adjust strategies to align with organizational goals.


  • Compensation and Benefits:
  1. Administer compensation programs, including salary structures, bonuses, and benefits packages.
  2. Manage employee benefits programs, ensuring accurate enrollment and compliance with legal requirements.
  3. Conduct salary surveys and benchmarking to ensure the company’s compensation offerings are competitive within the market.


  • HR Policy and Compliance:
  1. Ensure that HR policies and procedures are up-to-date and compliant with Philippine labor laws and regulations.
  2. Advise management and staff on HR policies, ensuring consistent application across the organization.
  3. Manage compliance with government regulations, including SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and other statutory benefits.


  • HRIS Management:
  1. Oversee the management and maintenance of the Human Resources Information System (HRIS), ensuring employee records are accurate and up-to-date.
  2. Generate reports and analyze HR data to support decision-making and improve HR strategies.


  • Legal Compliance:
  1. Stay current with changes in Philippine labor laws and ensure the organization remains compliant with all legal requirements.
  2. Assist in the preparation and submission of government reports, such as compliance reports and employee-related filings.
  3. Handle legal matters related to HR, including labor disputes, grievances, and any legal inquiries involving employees.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience in managing end-to-end HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance.
  • Knowledge:
  • In-depth knowledge of Philippine labor laws and regulations, including legal aspects related to employment, benefits, and termination procedures.
  • Familiarity with HR best practices and current trends in HR management.
  • Skills:
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with employees, management, and external partners.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Certification: Certification in Human Resources Management (e.g., from the Philippine Society for Human Resource Management or other recognized organizations) is a plus.


Working Conditions:

  • The HR Generalist role will be based at the company’s main office.
  • The position requires flexibility to address HR issues that may arise during non-business hours.
