Overall scope of work:

• The FS Audit/FS Consultant will be responsible for the examination and analysis of internal controls and business risks by performing audit work, developing audit scope, procedures, and preparing audit reports primarily for financial services.
• Preferably, with knowledge of operations of financial services (such as banks and fintech companies) and experience executing audits that include BSP circulars.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate the effectiveness of clients’ controls across industries and business process cycles based on BSP requirements
• Assess the effectiveness of implementation and consistency with Board-approved policies and procedures.
• Evaluate the level of conformance with the applicable risk management and regulatory compliance requirements
• Report key findings and outcomes of the assessment of the business and risk environment and its related controls
• Proactively identify other areas of business initiatives and changes in the business environment and assess their impact on the business control environment
• Establish and maintain good relationships with clients

Qualifications:

• University degree, preferably in accounting, internal audit or a related field
• Excellent communication skills in both oral and written English
• Able to handle multiple tasks and assignments
• Logical thinking, good attitude, fast learner and good team player
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Resourceful and able to work out technical solutions
• Good appreciation of fundamental audit knowledge and financial, business, IT and operational controls
• Preferably has knowledge on business process issues and understand business transaction scenarios
• Preferably has knowledge on BSP circulars and issuances
• Preferably has knowledge on Manual of Regulations for Banks (MORB) and Manual of Regulations for Non-Bank Financial Institutions (MORNBFI)
