This function will be involved in developing and implementing software automation. This includes understanding of QA methodology, processes automated testing tools and test management tools.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Functional SME with automation concepts and tools.
• Broad business approach and deep understanding of software automation, quality practices and SDLC.
• Develops pioneering approaches to creating test automation.
• Has experience with creating and implementing automation framework and scalability of such framework that supports
• future automation growth.
• Responsible for automation development standards using proper design and architecture.
• Responsible for the maintenance of automation scripts
• Participates in the daily stand up meeting and other related Scrum Agile ceremonies.
• Develops and manages automation test suites, automation execution and reporting/metrics on test automation
• Works directly with QA Manager and QA Engineers to conduct automation test and create and build automation test suites
• Ensure alignment of test automation with bi- weekly sprints.
• Identify and mitigate risks/issues related to throughput for automation.
• Execute test status reports and communicate to appropriate audiences

What skills/attributes are a must have:

• 4+ years hands on experience with Selenium/Eclipse automation (developing, execution and Maintenance)4+ years’ experience in developing innovative test framework for automation.
• 4+ years understanding of Java and Java Concepts
• Experience with Pearl and/or Python
• Experience with HTML
• Experience with TestNG
• Experience with Jenkins is a plus
• Experience with integration of automation to third party tools.
• Experience with HP ALM a plus
• Experience with Microsoft suite of tools.
• Individual must have experience with IDE (Integrated Development Environment)
