Description
- Operate heavy-duty trucks for long-distance transportation.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections for safety.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and documentation.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and management.
Requirements
- Educational Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience Level: At least 2 years of truck driving experience preferred.
- Skills and Competencies: Proficient in operating heavy vehicles, navigation, and basic vehicle maintenance.
- Responsibilities and Duties: Transport goods safely, conduct pre-trip inspections, and maintain delivery logs.
- Working Conditions: Long hours on the road, irregular schedules, and occasional overnight trips.
- Qualities and Traits: Strong communication skills, reliability, attention to detail, and good time management.
