Recruitment Position: Senior Specialist for Payment Gateway and Risk Control in India

Position Type: Full-time (Remote and local business trips in India are accepted)

Core responsibilities

• In-depth Analysis of the Payment System
• Lead the technical integration with mainstream Indian payment gateways such as UPI/NPCI, RuPay, and Paytm, and optimize the success rate of API calls
• Design a multi-bank channel redundancy scheme (including differential handling of private bank interfaces such as HDFC and ICICI)
• Construction of Risk Control System
• Design anti-fraud rules (such as dynamic transaction limits and IP regional blocking) in accordance with the RBI's "Payment System Regulatory Framework"

Establish a localized risk control model:

• ✓ Identify risks with Indian characteristics (such as Aadhaar card theft and black industry of proxy recharge)
• ✓ Avoid the compliance review risks of high-frequency trading by NPCI

Compliance implementation

• Ensure that the system has passed the PCI-DSS Level 3 certification and complies with the data storage requirements of the Indian Data Protection Act
• The rate of handling payment disputes is ≤0.3% (the industry benchmark is 1.2%)

Hard requirements:

• More than 2 years of practical experience with Indian payment gateways. Successful integration cases are required (such as optimizing the Paytm callback delay from 15s to 3s).
• Proficiency in the following technology stack:
• ✓ Payment gateway sandbox testing tools (such as Razorpay Dashboard)
• ✓ Logic writing for the risk control system (such as Rule Engine configuration)
• Familiarity with the new regulations of the Reserve Bank of India in 2024:
• A transitional scheme for the single transaction limit of UPI Lite from ₹200 to ₹500
• Automated calculation of withholding tax (TDS) for cross-border payments
