Trucking Operations Supervisor

Position Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Trucking Operations Supervisor to oversee fleet operations, driver management, and logistical coordination. This role is pivotal in ensuring compliance, operational efficiency, and client satisfaction across all transportation activities.

• Direct daily dispatch and delivery operations to ensure freight moves on time and within budget.
• Supervise and develop a team of drivers, dispatchers, and support staff to meet operational goals.
• Monitor real-time fleet movement using available Monitoring system and GPS platforms; troubleshoot delivery issues for both transport units and personnel issues/concerns 
• Manage compliance with transportation Safety standards
• Track performance metrics (OTD, cost/mile, fuel efficiency) and implement continuous improvement plans.
• Collaborate with warehouse, customer service, and planning teams to streamline end-to-end logistics.
• Respond to emergencies, accidents, and service failures with speed and precision.
• Drive cost savings through route optimization, vendor negotiations, and maintenance oversight.

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Transportation, or Business preferred
• 3–5 years of experience in fleet/logistics operations, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role0
• Proficient excel monitoring reports
• Deep knowledge transportation safety standards
• Strong leadership, communication, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work flexible hours and respond to urgent operational issues
• Ad Hoc duties adaptability
