Role Overview:We are seeking a Service Engineer with Project Management expertise to join our team. This role involves providing technical support, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our products and solutions while ensuring successful project execution. The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background, hands-on service experience, and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide technical service and support for customers, including installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of equipment and systems.
- Manage service-related projects from planning to execution, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
- Work closely with sales, engineering, and product teams to support customer requirements and drive service excellence.
- Act as a technical advisor, assisting customers in selecting the right solutions for their needs.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
- Conduct training sessions for customers and internal teams on equipment operation and maintenance.
- Prepare technical reports, service documentation, and project updates for internal and customer review.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all service and project activities.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance service efficiency and effectiveness.
Key Qualifications & Skills:- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related field).
- 3+ years of experience in a service engineering role, with exposure to project management.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in mechanical, electrical, or industrial automation systems.
- Proven experience managing technical projects, including planning, scheduling, and execution.
- Familiarity with technical sales processes and customer relationship management.
- Knowledge of service contracts, warranties, and maintenance agreements.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, software, and service management systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and internal teams.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:- Project Management Certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) is a plus.
- Experience in industrial automation, manufacturing, or heavy equipment industries.
- Hands-on experience with PLC programming, control systems, or IoT-enabled service solutions.
- Knowledge of ERP/CRM systems for service management.
