Description

  • The Human Resources & Administration (HR&A) Supervisor will lead, direct, and manage the day-to-day Human Resources and Administrative activities.
  • Provides oversight and guidance to manpower development by monitoring processes related to recruitment/ retention, compliances, compensations, benefits, training and development as well as overseeing administrative functions. The HR&A Supervisor will provide strategic guidance to the HR Department.


RECRUITMENT AND RETENTION

  • Develops and oversees recruitment process.
  • Reviews job advertisements before posting, screens CVs, conducts telephone screenings, coordinates interview teams, participates in interviewing candidates and ensures that documentations are collected/recorded and filed.
  • Oversees all labor engagements for the country office and manages the new hires’ orientation and exit processes.


COMPLIANCE AND RECORD-KEEPING

  • Annually reviews the Personnel Handbook recommending amendments needed due to changes in local conditions or labor laws.
  • Manages timesheets of all employees, ensuring timely submission, approval, accuracy, and filing.


COMPENSATIONS AND BENEFITS

  • Monitors compensations - ensuring internal equity, compliance and benefits.
  • Facilitates job analysis and update job descriptions.


PAYROLL AND BUDGET

  • Coordinates with the Finance Manager in the preparation of monthly Payroll.
  • Advises Management on appropriate staffing levels and assists in budget preparation.
  • Review employee final payments for accuracy and compliance with labor laws.


ADMINISTRATION

  • Ensures smooth running of all administrative functions in the office.
  • Supervises all travel and hotel arrangements for staff and visitors, including visas and work permits as applicable.


TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT AND PERFORMANCE MAINTENANCE

  • Evaluates the need for employee training and development and makes recommendations.
  • Oversees the coordination and implementation of annual performance reviews.


EMPLOYEE RELATIONS

  • Works with senior management to resolve employee relations issues pragmatically.
  • Investigates employee relations issues and works to ensure human resources-related decisions are consistent and fair.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Administration, Psychology, or any 4-year course.
  • At least Seven (7) years of experience as a Manager or Supervisor in the Human Resources and Administration Department.
  • With 10 years’ experience in a related field.
  • Must be familiar with country-specific laws and regulations governing Human Resources.
  • Strong Background in Organizational Development, Employee Relations, Training and Development, and Talent Acquisition Management.
  • Ability to work with managers to assess complex issues.
  • Ability to define problems, establish facts, analyze situations and make decisions.
  • Appropriate handling of sensitive information
  • High level of accuracy, efficiency and accountability.
