Description
- Manage project costs from inception to completion.
- Prepare cost plans, estimates, and budgets; perform risk assessments; and manage contracts.
- Prepare and analyze tender documents.
- Conduct cost estimation and forecasting.
- Prepare valuations and payment applications.
- Monitor project progress and costs.
- Provide advice on contracts and procurement.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and project managers.
Requirements
- Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Experience Level: 1-3 years of experience in cost estimation, budgeting, and project management.
- Skills and Competencies: Proficiency in cost management software, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities.
- Working Conditions: Office environment with site visits required; may involve working under tight deadlines.
- Qualities and Traits: Detail-oriented, proactive problem solver, and strong teamwork abilities.
