Description

  • A front desk officer is primarily responsible for greeting patients, managing appointment scheduling, handling phone calls, updating patient records, collecting payments, and providing excellent customer service at the front of the dental practice, acting as the first point of contact for patients while ensuring smooth office operations. 
  • Key responsibilities may include:
  • Patient Reception:
  • Greeting patients upon arrival and warmly welcoming them to the clinic. 
  • Verifying patient information and updating records as needed. 
  • Checking patients in and out of appointments. 
  • Appointment Scheduling:
  • Answering phone calls and scheduling new patient appointments. 
  • Rescheduling or canceling appointments as required. 
  • Managing appointment calendar and ensuring efficient patient flow. 
  • Administrative Tasks:
  • Collecting patient payments and processing insurance claims 
  • Maintaining patient records, including medical history and dental charts. 
  • Filing paperwork and completing necessary administrative tasks 
  • Communication and Coordination:
  • Communicating patient information to dental professionals within the practice. 
  • Relaying treatment plans and costs to patients as directed by the dentist 
  • Handling patient concerns and addressing inquiries promptly 
  • Office Management:
  • Maintaining a clean and organized front desk area. 
  • Ordering and managing supplies 

Requirements

  • Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required in a relevant field.
  • Experience Level: 1-3 years of experience preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a friendly demeanor
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficiency in dental office software and scheduling systems
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
  • Basic understanding of dental terminology and procedures
  • Administrative skills including data entry and filing 
  • Must be willing to work in BGC Taguig City
